Twisted Insurrection: Original Soundtrack V2 Released!

Version 2 of the original soundtrack for the Tiberian Sun Twisted Insurrection Mod has just been released by Aro. It's available to download by clicking here. All the other tracks in the album will all be featured in the final release of the Twisted Insurrection Mod.

This is grossly misleading. There will be a release in August, sure, but the FINAL release? There is still much work to be done.

When will this mod be released?

Twisted Insurrection will have some form of release in late 2010. It may not be 100% finished by then, but we are trying are hardest. If we do not finish Twisted Insurrection by the set deadline we will do a beta release and then a full release later. We would much rather stick to a full release so it doesn't damage your expectations playing an unfinished version, but we'll see how it goes.

Perhaps a better wording would be, "Its potential final release".

Just for clarification to the news poster and anyone else that may not be aware, the release this August is not Twisted Insurrection's final release, but a Beta release. Even so, the news post is far from "Grossly Misleading".

 

The ModDB description for Twisted Insurrection does however need some updating, that summary hasn't been changed in over a year. I've updated it just now to avoid any confusion. Thanks for posting this on CNCNZ dbjs.

There are 22 tracks in the TI:OST which will all be in the final release of Twisted Insurrection, more tracks could come at a later date.
