hi all

 

in the our school there's a project for the best stop-motion film and i decide to use the sound effect from command and conquer (like: explosions, shoots, deads, etc...) how i can take them?

i tried to searching it on internet but i didn't find nothing.

 

so which is my solution??? :rolleyes:

If you download the XCC Mixer, you can extract the sounds from Tiberian Dawn all the way up to Zero Hour and Renegade (Dune II as well).

 

Just dig through your games' directories until you find the sound files and extract them as WAVs to use with whatever sound editor you are using.

Small hint on using XCC Mixer: This is how to convert files. The second file browser (which is reduced to 0 pixels width by default) determines where the converted files end up. For converting sound effects, you'll generally have to find the AUD format files, and convert them using the "Copy as WAV" -> "PCM" function.

Oh I knew him. Fairly well actually. Last letter he sent me, he said he's moving out where I live. Now, I dunno if he's gonna stay true to his word on that though.
