Nmenth 291 Posted August 14, 2010 If you download the XCC Mixer, you can extract the sounds from Tiberian Dawn all the way up to Zero Hour and Renegade (Dune II as well). Just dig through your games' directories until you find the sound files and extract them as WAVs to use with whatever sound editor you are using. Share this post Link to post

Nyerguds 102 Posted August 15, 2010 Small hint on using XCC Mixer: This is how to convert files. The second file browser (which is reduced to 0 pixels width by default) determines where the converted files end up. For converting sound effects, you'll generally have to find the AUD format files, and convert them using the "Copy as WAV" -> "PCM" function. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted August 15, 2010 let me ask a question: do you know Zee Hypnotist? Know of, but never really knew him. He was active here before my time. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted August 15, 2010 Oh I knew him. Fairly well actually. Last letter he sent me, he said he's moving out where I live. Now, I dunno if he's gonna stay true to his word on that though. Share this post Link to post
