Another CNCSaga.de Interview

[Sonic 298]

Our friends at CNCSaga.de, one of the leading German C&C fan sites, have been posting some great interviews lately. Just the other day they posted their latest interview, I'll leave it up to you to decide how good it is because its with none other than yours truly, me, the webmaster of CNCNZ.com. We discussed a range of topics like Command on Conquer of course, the current situation in the community, EA and more. Here's a couple of questions.

CNCSaga.de: At the moment our situation within the community seems to be very hard. What do you do to counter that efficiently and what do you provide your users?

Sonic: We have done the only thing we can do on CNCNZ.com, increase our coverage of the C&C modding scene. We have some extremely cool mods in the works in our community, they need all the news coverage they can get and CNCNZ.com is here to provide that. Over the past 3 or so months we have been pumping out regular news updates rather well. So credit must be given to the News Team we assembled. I'm very pleased with our modding coverage, we have managed to spread it out over the older C&C games and newer C&C games. Arguably I feel we are the most active C&C fan site right now.

CNCSaga.de: When do you think the new CnC will be announced, what would you please the most?

Sonic: This is a tricky one. I'm hoping it will been sooner rather than later. I think we can expect some form of an announcement early in 2011. Personally I feel the new development team EALA should be exploring the option of creating a new universe with a fresh storyline, commonly referred to as a "new IP". This way they are free to be creative and not be bound some unwritten set of rules that determines what is C&C canon and what is not.

Whoa - so late with this news and still the first one to post a comment... it's nice to see other sites interviewing Sonic.

Nothing really new or astonishing for us regulars, but it's good to see a veteran recognised.

Sorry I missed this earlier.

Yeah, I haven't noticed it as well.

Good interview.

I missed reading this great interview.

One thing though, are both CNCSaga.de and CNCSaga.com sharing the same type of website? CNCSaga.com should have been renamed to CNCSaga.fr because the original lanaguage domain is in French and the CNCSaga.de is the German version of the site.
