Plok 328 Posted April 6, 2011 Today, I have made my account on ModDB (currently set to invisible to anyone but my friends, which I don't have yet). However, while attempting to log in, IE8 brings me a security warning that ModDB's signature is invalid or inproper. I choose to continue to the site and after logging in, everything is displayed normally. Also, when I was once downloading DaFool's mod that unites all units from all RA games (can't remember the name, though), I wanted to kill time while viewing a video on ModDB at the same time. IE terminated the download and told me that the site is trying to run a malicious code (but I could watch videos normally afterwards). Is ModDB really that unsafe or is IE just an epic fail? Also, I'm trying to delete a comment on my YouTube video. When I do so, it disappears, but when I return to the video, it's still there! How? Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted April 6, 2011 I have a similar problem like this when using Firefox without setting the proper settings. Moddb is safe, except on Google Chrome, where unknown spyware could hijack your PC and set Moddb the only link working in the Internet. This is why I cannot use Google Chrome at home, except on public server computers. Share this post Link to post
