I like this teaser much better than just the old map, which to be fair, most of us should be reasonably familar with.

(Maybe they should have reversed the order - this one first then the map itself)

You won't need to. All future versions of Renegade X will be standalone.

The current version requires Unreal Tournament 3, but we're working on a standalone version of Renegade X. First there will be a singleplayer release (mini-campaign, about 1 hour long, includes cinematics) which is almost done. We will then make a multiplayer release (standalone) afterwards.
