So looking forward to this. A sequel to Borderlands. The original was great, awesome DLC. High hopes for #2!

 

2K announces Borderlands 2

 

2K Games has announced Borderlands 2, due next year for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

 

While Borderlands 2 will see players return to the planet of Pandora, the sequel promises new environments, new characters and skills, and new weapons.

 

“Combining invention and evolution, Borderlands 2 features all new characters, skills, environments, enemies, weapons and equipment, which come together in an ambitiously crafted story,” writes 2K.

 

“Players will reveal secrets, and escalate mysteries of the Borderlands universe as they adventure across the unexplored new areas of Pandora.”

 

Borderlands 2 will be fully unveiled at Gamescom later this month.

I know. I can't wait. I hope they don't change things too much. But more of Pandora to explore sounds like tons of fun. I hope they include the old areas too. It would be fun to revisit Fyrestone or the Rust Commons.

Borderlands is the only game I've played regularily on console with a friend. We finished the game together. Quite awesome so yes!, indeed want a #2 thumbsup:

The first one was a BLAST. Is any of the DLC worth it? I never bought into it.
