That's what initially turned me off about Battlefield 3, after unpleasant experiences with EA's prior download services/systems/policies. The game itself looks good. Right now I can't justify the expense. Were it to stumble onto Steam in a few months with a price cut that's all-too-common for months-old games, say perhaps $30, I will grab it then. Luk3us 63 Posted October 28, 2011 I've picked it up, playing through the campaign, its the generic America blows up the middle east garbage, with a tinge of evil russians, so hardly original. Haven't played multi yet since the beta a few weeks ago, so I'll be doing that maybe next week. Need more free time dammit! Origin feels like a cheap version of steam, if they really want to compete they're going to have to up their game EA. Share this post Link to post

I keep getting asked if I want to sync my cloud data for BF3 and it's getting annoying Multiplayer is a blast but my video card is old, it makes it REALLY laggy. Share this post Link to post

Right....... $30 USD is the lowest price to buy BF3 for this Black Friday. The last store I have read that is selling it is Fry's Electronics but it might be applying to video game consoles only. Not sure about Amazon though. I still want Starcraft II for at least $30 to be a reasonable deal if it does have a sale price someplace.
