Dune 2 was good in its day. But now days its horrible. I mean having to select each unit then giving it an order....

 

If those games don't work put em' in Dos box.

Horrible it may have been, but that game was well ahead for it's time and was pulled off so well the first time around. We have Dune 2 & Westwood to thank so much for... without them the RTS wouldn't be as good or as enjoyable as it is today.

 

Same with lands of lore in my opinion it is still in my opinion a great RPG and it's 1st person view made you feel a part of the action all the way... and it's perhaps the only RPG that's kept my interest long enough to make me complete it.

for their time, those games were great. but, now, they are completly obsolete.

many of them still are great in my opinion... Retro gaming is tops! It's not the graphics you should follow anyway, it's the gameplay, that's what makes a game. Biased it may be but I will always choose Dune 2 over Generals, because this game was amazing when II first played it....

 

Although it is funny I've completed every C&C from Westwood, but when it comes to the Dune games I never got round to completing any of them.. closest I've been is the Attradies final mission in Dune 2000!
