Sonic 296 Posted October 30, 2011 Just thought I'd post this quick explantion about the Profile Feeds and Recent Status Updates. For those wondering what they are, where the came from etc.... Remember back on IPB2 how you could comment on another user's profile? That's what they are, just under a different name now. IPS made them more personal, more like Twitter feed thing. Plok 327 Posted October 31, 2011 As much as these feeds are visible, PMs are no longer announced like they were in IPB2 (centered window and all that), just a tiny icon at the top of the screen that my receivers can't see on the first pass. Share this post Link to post

Click on your UserCP > My Settings > Notification Options, scroll down to Private Messages, check the box called "Show inline pop-up when I have new personal messages", then Save Changes.
