internal error

every time I start RA2 with the changes I made, after I start using the units I edited, I get- "Red alert 2 has experienced an internal error and connot function properly" or something like that, how can I fix this?

i had that, i always thought that i edited too many objects and it couldnt handel it all

Have you tried making just one or two changes and then trying them out?

The game cannot handle all values for different things (most notably, if you enter a Cost of 0 for something, the game will crash; it must be at least 1). There's lots of places where modding can go wrong and you get crashes.

I also have this problem but it only happens when i try to use a custom team.

Adding a custom team (new side) is a whole other league. Doing that requires a lot of work... and without using one of the tutorials floating around the web you'll probably crash the game. It's not easy...
