Plants vs. Zombies 2 announced and it's free-to-play!

No word on when the PC/Mac versions for this game will be released but the release date for July 2013 only applies to mobile app versions.

 

Only problem with this F2P issue, the same thing to what Tiberium Alliances and Battlefield F2P are having, pay to get better stuff.

 

I rather pay for this game to get entire content and longer gameplay as a retail product instead.

I'm fairly certain that they'll change that exclusivity. Surely it will be brought to the Android market as well if they intend to keep it as mobile only. Come to think of it, this is a perfect mobile game too.
