If it's from a keygen, it isn't. If you get it in a legitimately purchased box, it is, unless the seller already registered the game, hence you need to aim for sealed cases.

That doesn't make your serial key legit. Only a key bought from a store or from a good seller online is legit.

We don't have an aggressive zero-tolerance policy against piracy. You usually only get warning points if you break a rule when you have already been informed of the rules and keep breaking them anyway. So unless you keep talking about how you are using illegal versions of games or tell other people how to acquire them, there will be no warning increase.
