C&C365 Retired

Recommended Posts

Observant visitors and forum regulars would have noticed the we have retired the "Command & Conquer 365" theme and concept. A couple of years ago, Command & Conquer 365 almost became the new name of the site, I toyed with is idea, designed a layout with this name and everything. Even held the www.cnc365.com domain for a while. But at the last minute I backed out of the whole C&C365 idea and remained as CNCNZ.com. C&C365 was recycled and used as a "theme" for our news coverage. It was our way of saying we covered it all, 365 day a year. As time went by I kept the badge you see below proudly on display. tagging it on various features, polls and promotions. Then I even revisited the renaming of the site once again, getting the feedback from our staff in the process. In the end nothing really happened. In recent months I scaled back its use and reached the point where it was time to say goodbye to it, as it doesn't fit into CNCNZ.com's future plans moving forward.

Well at least CNC365 did last this long but we will miss it. Now what about the CNCNZ365 user channel on YouTube? Will that name stay or be renamed?

Nothing changes with our YouTube Channel.

Another to mention. With the retiring of the C&C365 stuff I've been able to move our hosted projects icons up for promotion on the main site as well.
