BWare 0 Posted November 16, 2004 Alright, I listen to a lot of music, but these have to be my top favorite bands... Further Seems Forever Underoath Zao Dead Poetic Coheed and Cambria Emery MeWithoutYou The Juliana Theory The Agony Scene Mae Copeland Switchfoot Modest Mouse Five Iron Frenzy Twothirtyeight Anberlin Norma Jean On Broken Wings As I Lay Dying Hangnail Holland Blindside ...that's mostly hardcore, metal, indie rock and the apparently despised emo (I agree that the vast majority is garbage, but the style can definitely be implemented well- oh, and I believe it's short for "emotion"). ...and in what I consider the "classics" category, I of course have the immortal Metallica, the Doobie Brothers, the Beach Boys, Guns 'N Roses, ELO, Don Henley, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Boston, Chicago, and Billy Joel, and I also listen to a lot of classical- Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi, and Gershwin especially. I'm not a big country fan at all, and DESPISE rap and pop. Share this post Link to post
Hydra1945 0 Posted November 17, 2004 I don't think I've heard of one band in that entire list, BWare. I like a little of just about every grenre of music. Here are a few artists I like: AC/DC Alice in Chains Beastie Boys Ludwig von Beethoven Black Sabbath John Williams and the Boston Pops Orchestra Bob Seger Chicajo Frank Klepacki Frederic Chopin Dream Theater Edgar Winter Group Everlast Godsmack Gorillaz Guns N' Roses G. F. Handel Iron Maiden Kenny Wayne Sheppard Kid Rock Kool and the Gang Led Zeppelin Lee Greenwood Linkin Park Lynyrd Synyrd Metallica Monty Python Mozart Mungo Jerry Nickelback Ted Nugent Mike Oldfield Opeth Papa Roach Pearl Jam Pennywise Pink Floyd Queen Rammstein Red Hot Chili Peppers Rhapsody Rolling Stones Rush George Thorogood U.S. Marine Band The Who Yes About the only genre I dislike almost completely is rap; every now and then, though, a good rap song will come along that I like. BWare 0 Posted November 17, 2004 I don't think I've heard of one band in that entire list, BWare. hehe, yeah most aren't very well known- it's nice, because the concerts are small and I've met pretty much every one of those bands, and know some of the members pretty well. Your list contains a ton that I should have listed- how could I forget Led Zeplin, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Pearl Jam, or the Who? What was I thinking? Good tastes dude. Azrael 0 Posted November 17, 2004 Currently singing (hehehe) to Usher's Confessions part 2 These are my confessions just when I thought I said all I can say my chick on the side says she went all the way. These are my confessions man I'm thrown and I don't know what to do, I guess I gotta keep part two of my confessions. If I'm gonna tell it then I gotta tell it all tell me try when I got that phonecall, I'm so thrown, and I don't know what to do but to keep part two of my confessions. Now this gotta be the hardest thing i think I ever had to do. Got me talkin' to myself how I'm gonna tell you.......... Like it? Share this post Link to post
