Titanfall

So I heard about this multiplayer FPS game for a while where it won some awards long before the release. I wonder if this game is the next best MMOFPS after Gears of War and Unreal Tournament. Could this game be the answer to the weak points of the MP versions of COD and Battlefield series?

 

You guys probably should know who the developers are, the same guys who worked on the older Call of Duty games before they were fired by Activision. Just like Activision devs of Infinity Ward and Treyarch, Respawn Entertainment is still using a bit outdated graphic engine, the same engine that Valve is currently using for their games.

Yeah I've seen a few gameplay videos seems like a mix between Crysis and COD, with some mechs tossed in for good measure.

 

I'm happy with BF4 at the moment though.

Grim news, Respawn isn't interested for single-player at the time for Titanfall:

But Respawn, aren't you originally the Call of Duty guys who made great single-player campaigns? If MP wasn't that excellent for COD but SP is, then do SP for Titanfall.

It is my understanding that Titanfall was never intended to have a single-player component. Don't ask for something that isn't supposed to be there.

It has a campaign but it's multiplayer still. It's not too bad. Plenty of fun.
