Why new video games are always the same price

Recommended Posts

Here's an interesting article: http://consumerist.com/2014/03/15/the-competition-is-as-fake-as-the-blood-why-new-video-games-are-always-the-same-price/

Well I am already getting tired of $60 new games. Some may be worth it as a Blu-ray disc, but most of them often are shorter games. Some $60 games back then in the 1990s and early 2000s were worth it, because they were longer games but weak graphic engines.

The only $60 game that's worth buying today is GTA V, and so did GTA IV six years ago.

Most new PC games cost $40 like WarGame: Red Dragon or $30 like Men of War Assault Squad 2.
