With WinXP support ended on April 2014, more and more software programs, even games, are now requiring a 64-bit OS to do the work, and some of them may need very extensive system requirements such as a quad-core CPU.

But the thing is I have mentioned and knew earlier, playing a 64-bit game isn't really playing a game with 64-bit graphics and only recent Nvidia Quadro and AMD FireGL videos cards have that ability to use "deep color" mode with ranges of 30, 36 and 48-bit color modes. The other exception is that most Blu-ray players have "deep color" mode.

As for me, I am definitely NOT READY for exclusive 64-bit PC gaming, not unless I buy/create a new PC with a octa-core CPU, 32 GB RAM, a 4 GB video card and a 1+ TB solid-state drive. I may have a rig running Win7 64-bit OS, but my rig doesn't have enough speed and RAM to do the work. I am sure some of you guys are not onto a 64-bit OS yet.

I've been running a 64-bit OS for years already. If you're PC gaming and not running a 64-bit OS, you're way, way behind.

I think we are in the middle of the transition, at least in south america.

I have a 64-bit OS but the majority of the programs installed here are still 32-bit.

Currently, I still have/want to catch up with the 4K trend and related rig.

I can only think of a few games that are 64bit only, most games nowadays are either 32bit still or are offering both options. It'll be a while yet before its all 64bit exclusively.

This.
