Rome Total War

Yo any of you guys played this game? Looks reasonable. Just want a couple of opnions.

Rome Total War, like the rest of the Total War series has strengthened its place on the RTS throne with this game... it got 95% in PC Gamer UK and narrowly missed out on Game Of The Month Because of Half life 2..

 

Every review I've seen in mags in the UK will not put a bad word against this RTS... they simply love it...

i played the demo, its really gud, but i rather play c&c.

I got the game on friday and I havent stoped playing it since (well except for just now).

It is by far the greatest stratagy game ive ever played with the scale of the battles that I couldnt imagen to be in a game with thousands of higly detailed units that puts genenerals to shame. The ability to have mulitple armies such as allies or renforements to help you out (The tension you get when your out numbered just hoping that you can holed off the attackers untill reinforcement can arrive (which you dont know if/when they do) has a very the battle of waterloo feel to it.

I also enjoy the civilisation apsect to it with city building and deplomacy being as important as the battles themself.

Well as most people know 6th November is the official end of my freedom!! :lol:

Anyway of course Rome: Total War is good, it's better than good... I'd expect nothing less from the Total War series... I just can't wait until they release a modern day Warfare edition of Total War, that's gonna be excellent, considering that once it arrives the power of the game's engines and the PCs they run on are going to be beyond anything we've seen yet.

Thats nice that you decided to bring up a 2 month old topic. But none the less it is too late as I have already got the game. Its ok I suppose.

when i first saw rome total war on time commanders i thought finally a decent total war game i thought the ithers were rubbish
