DVD Rom

I'm planning to buy a DVD rom soon. Any suggestion for a good one? I don't want the dual DVD, they are too expensive. What I want is at least it can read DVD and burn DVD.

I didn't vote cause I just pick the one which is cheap and fast. So a nice medium for me.

Lite On, my prefered DVD maker. But do a google search for "dual layer firmware update" because some single layer burners can be flashed (new sofware on them) that makes them become dual layer

Are we talking about DVD Rom drives or DVD Burners/Writers here. I know the difference but some people get them mix up.

Ofcourse what I'm seeking right now is a good and cheap dvd rom. But, I think I will buy LiteOn's.

Hmm....LiteOn DVD combo only cost around 80$. I will buy this DVD then. ASUS DVD cost too much, with stupid quality.
