Embedding videos still need fixing

Is there any way this site can embed videos after posting (like Revora and GameReplays)  instead of automatically embedding a video when pasting a clip link on the post? The technical issue is that the site thinks it's rich-text when pasting a video link onto a post.

Now that Sonic and Zee Hypnotist (aka Rabbit) are retired, who can really actually fix this long-term issue?
