Gazdude 0 Posted December 10, 2004 This sounds cool.. But im not much of a voxel artist (infact i dont know anything about it) so it would be cool if someone could Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 42 Posted December 10, 2004 Bit too detailed. It'd come out looking kinda ****ty dute to the high poly count something like that would require. Though you could sacrifice polys I suppose and have less detail. Share this post Link to post
MaNiC^ 0 Posted December 11, 2004 im not to intrested if the details perfect, imo RA2 isnt about how good the graphics are, its more about the gameplay so aslong as they resemble daleks it'd be fine **Edit** right, i've decided im gonig to try learn to do this myself, so my first question is what programs do i need / what tutorials are there about  meh, i really hate being a noob Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 42 Posted December 12, 2004 GMax, with the RenX expansion, is you best option since it's free. But the best in the community use 3D Studio Max and PhotoShop for skinning. I'm sure you know how we got those. Share this post Link to post
Gazdude 0 Posted December 13, 2004 For Red Alert 2? Wow i thought you had to use the voxel editor! Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 42 Posted December 13, 2004 You do but only for recolors, copy and paste voxeling or simple editing. We make better graphics with 3d and then converting them back to 2d with programs built by various talents in the community. Share this post Link to post
