alleylee 0 Posted March 22, 2005 no... doesn't make sense... if i remember properly... america didn't get into any wars after what albert did... until the red alert war to fight off the soviets... i think it is another messed up error on westwood's part... Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted March 24, 2005 Maybe the Arizona was sunk from a Soviet attack on Pearl Harbor in an effort to strike the Americans in the first war. Only it didnt go so well, except for the loss of the Arizona, and the Americans instead of attacking the Soviets dirrectly, sent A million troops, tanks, and helicopters to Europe to fight. Simply put, RA2 was not made by the original Westwood team, neither did it fit as a sequel to RA as the chronosphere was re-invented in RA2 and a seperate machine was needed for time travel aswell as the arizona memorial not fitting in aswell and the fact that Red Alert was a much darker more serious game then RA2. In other words, try not to make sense of it, since RA2 was made by a different team, they didn't have a clue how to make a sequel to RA fit. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted April 29, 2005 I had a sequal to RA all ready to go (in theory, anyway) when this thing came up. One of the major diapointments of RA2: The overall atmosphere of the game was comical RA was dark and serious, like WWII and the Black Death. TD had that sense of urgence, 'cause you never knew when or where Nod would strike, TS had the sense of forebodding doom, 'cause you knew the world was becoming in hospitable, the civilians you protect are turing against you, Nod and Kane resuracted, A mad supercomputer, seemingly unbeatable, and the results of the Tiberium Epidemic surfacing everywhere. Just knowing that you couldnt stop it, has to have that effect on some people. (in case you havent noticed, I dont play the games, I expirience them.) Share this post Link to post
valkukatov 0 Posted October 23, 2006 They used to be apart of the Soviet Union. They're beside Russia and above The Urkraine.... Wait. lastmantis 0 Posted October 23, 2006 Japan is our allies, so they would be allied (they are the best at robotics), Poland is a good team to add too, and Isreal would be ub3r (ever heard of the Six Day War?), and Canada is a good team, they would have the AvroCar (a real life hovercraft made by the canadians in the '50s, was supposed to replace the Jeep). As for Soviets, Iran would be good to add and they could have Insurgents (Soviet version of the Navy Seal), China would be good too (not sure about their specialty, maybe building things faster and cheaper), and North Korea also (Soviet version of South Korea).
