CNCNZ.com - It's Long History

Here is something I've been meaning to update for a long time. CNCNZ.com's history. It covers 1997 to 2005 (now), about 3000 words. I even included some screen shots of old layouts plus a never before seen concept layout that was never used.

I think I got all the spelling mistakes. If you spot any let me know.

Very good, couldn't see any spelling mistakes, although I was watching TV at the time.

 

One thing I would recommend you add though perhaps is like before to mention those staff throughout the site's history who have made it what it is today. I just think that it would be a testimonial to those who have served and shaped CNCNZ the mention they deserve. People like Viper and Genkiller shouldn't be left out. Their names in Orange to add a bit of colour, as well as text in bold will help make the whole article stand out a bit more.

 

But on the whole a very good and descriptive article on the history of CNCNZ and how far we've come... Top Knotch

I didn't like the reddy scheme though, was a bit bland. The older CNCNZ one however was very nice, I like the cartoony feel to it.

And one I am certainly proud to be part of, even if I was just a visitor in 1998. There's nothing I haven't seen CNCNZ go through. I am effectively the longest running full time active visitor to this web-site, and perhaps one of the oldest community members still active today.

 

I remember joining the community as "Area 101" back in 1997 with my 28.8k modem... The first site I ever went to was a Red Alert fan-site called "The Vortex", just before the site shut down I was made aware of a new site in the community known as TSNNZ and that's how it all started.... oh how I remember the old days.
