Colours

Hrmm...I was looking at the colours for the teams in YR, and there's some pretty useless colours (PINK?! Yeesh..). I was wondering, and I'm pretty sure there is, if there is anyway to change the colours, or modify existing colours? I noticed in another post that Fenring had a darker version of green. How did you do that? I'm a complete n00b when it comes to these kinds of things, I'm sure it's easy though, so could someone help me here?

Ph34r the power of the rules file.

 

It's in the [Colors] section of rules. Commented bits will tell you what colors are used in multiplayer and the colors coded in HSB (hue saturation brightness) format.

 

Or you can use pd's color editor to change them without the rules file.

Hehe...remember how I said I'm a total n00b? How do you get into that INI file?

Well you can download that rules file and put it with some other files inot your ra2 directory. Then it affects the game. I'm not quite sure if it's the same thing though, I only use it to add units, although I'm a noob in that sense also lol.
