Gunner the gunner 0 Posted May 20, 2005 I have had the game for as long as it has been out, and iv just been wondering. CHina has so much Napalm tech it supprises me they have no Napalm general. I could think of a few thing He/she could have. Napalm battle master: Sort of like the nuke one, only with fire and not radiation. Suped Mig: mig with twice a much ammo. Fire storm cannon: Replaciing the nuke cannon, one shell causes a fire storm. Add your idea, i may beable to do them, but i only have tibed and im not that good. If i was doibng this i would Mod the Nuke general into this, counting i can't add sides. If there is an exper moder/tem who could do this, then by all means do it. Share this post Link to post

Mr_Lee_ 0 Posted May 20, 2005 Search for the mod 'Contra' and its got a napalm general in it, aswell as a robotics USA general and an assault GLA. Its very innovative but lacks balance in my opinion. J-Fire_Man 0 Posted May 21, 2005 No offense, but I dont think you use TibEd correctly. A guy named Thierry here is a TibEd expert, you should ask him if you want to know more about TibEd coding. For the Napalm battle master, all you need to is to copy some part of the Inferno Cannon's "ProjectileDetonationOCL" and copy it to the battlemaster shell's "ProjectileDetonationOCL", the result is, when the battlemaster's shell explode, it won't create an explosion, but it will create a small firestorm. For the Super MiG, it's pretty simple, just modify the "Clip" amount in MiG's weapon. For the fire strom cannon, all you need to do is to copy the ocl from the MiG's "BonusWeapon" and paste it to the modified Nuke Cannon weapon. Share this post Link to post

J-Fire_Man 0 Posted May 22, 2005 Hmm....model injection??? You mean adding up new models to the game? As long as you know all of the important bones like the "FireFX", "WeaponLaunchBone", etc and set up every necessary codes for the models, there will be no problem. Beware of model name changing, you can't rename them straighly from the explroer, you will need to that via 3d application like the RenX. About adding new side, there are 2 more empy factions space to create new side if you have not remove or add any side. However, there are only 12 space for factions' script. One of them, already used for the "Neutral", and 9 of them are already used for the Generals, excluding General Leang. So, you have 2 space of faction scripts, you will need to choose 2 of the 3 remaining factions who will use the scripts. But, if you're good enough, you can modify the "neutral" script. Guest MadBadger Posted May 31, 2005 I can remember bac when gen zh was a ghost game like ra3 is now of a nalpalm gen who also had a flame thrower unit like the mini gunners ability in the boss gen mod. I think its cos Nuke Tank and Inf are just better gens thou. mind you swg sucks and should be something else maybe usa shuld have had inf with marines and china could have had nalpalm or is nalpalm too much like nuke? anyway nalpalm cannons are more usefull now only 3 neaded for a fire storm (2 elites). Napalm General is a must though - add in a drone commander for the USA and some sort of assault orientated GLA commander and you ahve three more very good generals! Share this post Link to post

Theyre a really bad side but they are good if you're playing in a very dense map where you'll find yourself going up aginast lightning strikes from nowheres - its a pina when you're playing as China...but the napalm general just burns them all.
