Comedian Movie Trailer - Very Funny

Recommended Posts

Many of you have probably heard this guy's voice for movie and video game trailers. He even did one for GameSpot when Generals was finally revealed back in March 2002, see here. His name is Hal Douglas.

Found this video of the trailer for the Jerry Seinfeld documentary called "Comedian" in my travels, no interest Jerry Seinfeld, he is not funny, but this short video that pokes a bit of fun at Hal Douglas is. The Quicktime plugin needed for this: http://www.pirate.ca/spot_of_the_week/arch...e_Comedian.html

Think I may have heard of it, but I've definately never seen it - it's prolly on some obscure channel.

I always found Jerry Seinfield show kinda lame.. Some of the jokes were alright, but the show was a little lame at times...

Heard of NBC yes, because I've been to the states. We have CNBC here which is a (crappy american) news channel.

Found this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/articles...d_7775675.shtml, no mention of it being shown here in the UK though.

Well I think all American news channels are crap, but I suppose that's because of the way TV is on your side of the Atlantic.

:? What is that supposed to mean? I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound argumentative, but I seriously don't understand your thinking here.

Well take Wife Swap for example; if you watch any of the british version from the last year or so it's very much "let the actions speak for themselves" attitude towards presenting the show.

But in the american version there's all whooshy firey text, loud announcers, teasers - it's very "in your face"

I suppose it's the american way of doing things; big, loud and bold ;)

Fox news is the worst example of a world news channel, how it can be the most popular news channel in the US I just dont know. For the first few hours after the Tsuinami they ignored it and continued with some news about Bush. Sky News is by far the best news channel which is basicaly the UK version of Fox with the same owner.

Personally I prefer BBC news although I don't like their new black and orange graphics - bring back yellow and red :)
