Design a CNCNZ.com Logo

[Sonic 295]

The logo contest for the C&C 10 Year thing gave me an idea. How you guys here design new logos for CNCNZ.com?

 

As you all know we have about 20 random logos that display on the main site each time you refresh a page. Such as the one below.

 

 

What I would like to see is some of you people who are talented with graphics, or if you just want to have a go, design some new logos to be included into the random rotation.

 

Just few requirements though:

• The images needs to be 450 pixels wide by 120 pixels high

[*] Must Display CNCNZ.com and some sort of slogan or catch phrase below the main CNCNZ.com text

[*] Must fit in with the sites colour scheme

[*] Must be based on C&C of course

[*] Only .jpg or .png images will be accepted

I've uploaded the font files used in the images for the original logos, grab them here if you want use them, other fonts maybe used though....

Sorry there are no prizes, its just a bit of fun. Besides how many sites give you the chance to contribute to it's layout?

Here is my first try, I want to raise the text a bit, and put some picture of the game described below, a unit render or screenshot, but thats still work in progress:

hmmm, looks like I need to blue shift the whole thing

seems to be a bit better. Text is a bit fuzzy due to image resizing. But that maybe can be fixed in while.

Normally I wouldn't comment on anything until the contest is closed, but I have to at this point in time. I must say that these logos are of excellent quality, and I am very impressed in what is being submitted.

 

I'm quite suprised that all those who have submitted so far haven't had a go at the C&C 10th Anniversary logo & banner competition, if these are anything to go by there could be a good chance one of you could win!

Okay here are my final 2 entries, I'm not sure whether you want blue theme or not so I attached both. I've inserted them with PS into the CNCNZ.com layout and they both fit nicely. Hope you like 'em! :wink:
