Oh Hell Yes! I mean No! Err Maybe!! | 09/08/2005

[Saracen 16]

I'm back from the community summit, with great knowledge and interesting ideas for reports on BfME2 and more. It was all great stuff, and I encourage the C&C community to read not only my report, but also everyone elses reports when they are released soon.

C&C 10 has had a setback somewhat as well. I was hoping to speak personally with Aaron about the event, but due to having such a kickass time, it proved difficult to get Aaron aside, I even missed out on dinner with Wally Wingert (Havoc in Renegade) to get C&C 10 finalised on the EA Front, but it never materialised. It's now dawned on me that I have alot of work to do....

[Guest Rabbit]

Really? It dawned on me that you did enough, and someone should help out!

Well, good job so far, and good luck for the future!

3 weeks....3 weeks....3 weeks....C'mon King, you can do it

[Guest Rabbit]

And with us backing you up, you know it's for a great cause! Your honor will become strong after this all rolls over...

Yes there is still a lot of prepration and work to be completed for C&C10. But think of it this way, a 10th anniversary can only happen once

[Koen 2]

There's always 10 years of RA1

And then TS

[Saracen 16]

We are celebrating 10 years of Tiberian Dawn, it's more about 10 great years of the Franchise as a whole... There will be no 10th Anniversary of any of the other games... these will just mean nothing in comparison to this 10th Anniversary.

I just wanna make that clear since this is a milestone in the franchise, I will make mention of a game's birthday, but really, I will not choose to operate another event until the franchise hits at least another 10 years.

[Guest Rabbit]

...And if it ever hits 50, or even 100 years? That would be a hell of a celebration...

[Cygnus X-1 14]

Are you kidding ?!

That would be sweet. Imagine, the youngest person at the 50th anniversary would be like 30 +

[Koen 2]

Of course this will be the biggest & best celebration... no-one will dare to try again on other occassions after C&C King is done. Even in 50 years we will still remember

[Saracen 16]

<< This was put on the board in my honor you know... only kidding

I hope I've done my best to get everything done that needs to be done... talk with Aaron on EA's suppoprt has been a circumstance beyond my control, a big shame, but I'm just waiting on that golden e-mail which will tell me all that Aaron & EA are doing... can't wait for it... won't be long now

[Cygnus X-1 14]

I dont htink Ill ever forget C&C. Who knows, in 50 years maybe they'll virtual reality (hoping its a LOT sonner than that) and we can play C&C all over again 8)
