Luk3us 63 Posted September 16, 2005 In the end.. It comes down to Clones vs Machines... We don't factor in cause we just get wipped out in the first 5 minutes of the war. Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted September 16, 2005 Yeah, and some of us lazy people would be sitting around on CNCNZ posting about it. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 16, 2005 yup. or lounging in in a mountain pass in New Zealand, wondering who won the latest battle, or which side is better at Rugby well, if it ever came down to it, the Clones and Machines would have to dig the USAF outa the rocky mountians. Luk3us 63 Posted September 17, 2005 lol... I suppose... Also to answer your question that would be zee Crusaders... Best side in the southern Hemisphere... If not zee world.. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 17, 2005 well there isnt actually that much land in the southern Hemisphere anyways... back on topic I fouond a major flaw in the Terminator series. Skynet nuked the shiit out of hte human cities and instalations, yet the Terminators werent affected by the EMP at all and imediatly began their assault on mankind... Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted September 17, 2005 Its a movie stupid. Of course its going to have flaws... Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 17, 2005 well Im just pointing out. I think its kinda ironic that they put all thistime and effort into it, then missa few things liek that. Star Wars 1: The Naboo fighters have astromech droids, btu the slots for the droids dont actually allow any room for the "shoulders" of hte droids another trivial detail that was missed or looked over 8) Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted September 17, 2005 hehehe Terminators fulla flaws.... why didnt the bots send MORE robots back to kill connors mum? Why wasnt the bot from T3 made from a NON MAGNETIC alloy? why wernt the more advanced bots sent back even further to kill conners mums parents? Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 17, 2005 because each time they sent a bot back, the humans sent another back to couonter it. and each time that happened, Skynet ran the risk of the hUmans figuring out what was going ot happen before Skynet took over and get itself shut down. Luk3us 63 Posted September 17, 2005 Gees.. You should never look to hard into a movie. Cause when you do all you do is spot flaws in it and ruin zee old movie experience. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 18, 2005 well, I tend to read the novels of the movies too, so that doesnt help my knowing too much about whats goin on Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted September 18, 2005 ..... the humans didnt send that much more addvanced bots back.... look at T3 the bird terminator was way more advanced than the armine terminator the only reason bird bot died woz cos arnie bot comited suicide w/ his hydrogen reactor thingy. Luk3us 63 Posted September 18, 2005 well, I tend to read the novels of the movies too, so that doesnt help my knowing too much about whats goin on Yeah reading the books like kills the experience. Since the movie is never as good as the book. Far to much details and such... Unless they made 8 hour movies... Which no one would actually watch.. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 19, 2005 well look at how much Titanic made at the box office that was like 6 hours Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted September 19, 2005 lol.. That was only 3 hours. LOTR was bout 9 hours.. That was pretty well recieved.. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 19, 2005 but it was 3 sepparate parts. I like it a lot htough Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted September 19, 2005 True... Seemed to bloody long though... Ugh.... 9 hours.. I could have squashed that into a 5 minute short movie.. Would have been a lot better. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 19, 2005 tsk tsk there a few parts I could have done withouot, like the 16 ending to Return of the King, btu then again, they cut out soo much like the Retaking of the Shire from Saurumon, Tom Bombadil, the Elves fighitng the Orcs in the Woods after The Fellowship got out of the Mines of Moria and they didnt show the Balrogs attacking Minas Tirith Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted September 19, 2005 I think the DVD's have extra footage... But still have you read the books? I've only read the first one.. There is far to much stuff going on to be able to have it all shown on the silver screen. Share this post Link to post
dapperdan 0 Posted September 19, 2005 i remember sitting in the cinema watching RotK at the end when the screen kept goin black and was hoping the credits were going to roll up and then the film would carry on, oh how people moaned, me included. Share this post Link to post
