With September 11th appraoching, a few directors have announced that they will be making movies based on certain events that before, during and after the attacks. One film is a low budget movie based on flight 93 which crash landed in a field after passengers attempted to take control of the plane. Another is a film, starring Oscar-winner Nicolas Cage. It will tell the story of two police officers trapped in the rubble of the World Trade Center in New York and is expected to be released next year. The Question is, is this a mark of respect, or a glorified insult to the victims and their families?

Its too early for movies. They didnt do Titanic until 85 years after the incident.

Way too early. The attack on pearl harbor didn't have movies with actual story lines until about 50 years later also, and so they should wait a while for this... Its just to early for some people...

Might? It WILL offend but it shouldn't. If the movies are done well, then they should be more a tribute to the fallen instead of a insult.
