Acerz492 1 Posted August 29, 2005  You're a bloody stirrer. I don't love him, I love his strategies Like I've already said: it's something different compared to the standard tank rushes ya always get. Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted August 29, 2005 "Standard" Rushes? Those are CRAP. They shorten a good strategic game by tenfold, and make it boring and stupid. It's like, whoever builds first, wins first, and I would rather have a game based on strategy, not complete overkill and no will to play a fun game. Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted August 29, 2005 It's okay, luk3us, we know you've been beaten so badly as Yuri before because he dosen't have the famed, "1000 Apocalypse and 1000 Kirov Airship" rush strategy. hahaha... lol.... 1000 tanks? I never play any game for longer than half an hour.. I don't think I've even ever built more than 20 tanks ever... There isn't anything wrong with Yuri... Its just fun to bash him... Since I know you love him so much.... 20?....omfg..... thats.... lame..... you gots see my Clan match replay...... a few hundred scorps anyone? Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted September 1, 2005 I would have to say Russia based on their brute strength, followed closely by Yuri. He has a solid defence (Gattling Cannons and Psychic Towers are tough to overcome) and a clever player can defeat an opponent with few units, as opposed to the popularity of unit spamming I have seen online. Luk3us 63 Posted September 2, 2005 Nothing wrong with mass amounts of units.... Just gets annoying after a while... Share this post Link to post

You forgot to mention Tank Bunkers with Lasher or Gattling Tanks garrisoned in them... Nothing wrong with mass amounts of units.... Just gets annoying after a while... Exactly why I'd choose Yuri over the Soviets anyday. Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted September 2, 2005 but what about his masterminds? so far if my oponat uses them i add 2 inf for every tank i have........ you should see them masterminds run then blow up but in an inf fight would Great britans snipers own a virus?[/b] Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted September 2, 2005 You forgot to mention Tank Bunkers with Lasher or Gattling Tanks garrisoned in them... I never use them to be honest. I prefer the Floating Disks as a defensiveoffensive unit, as they can protect a Yuri Prime when you send him into a base and take out anything he cannot. Plus they self heal regardless of their rank, so coupled with how they are tougher than most air units they make an excellent choice. Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted September 2, 2005 Really? I never noticed. They are good even if they are very slow, but imagine how someone would just rush with fifty or so, especially with the Iron Curtain. Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted September 2, 2005 does the iron curtain work on arial units then? and I norm have them healin at the back of my base..... dont use them for base attacks after people hear Kerov reporting a few times they just start spaming flac and pats so i use em against tec buildings or as a very funny base defence Share this post Link to post

Jeez...I always use a couple of Lasher Tanks garrisoned in Tank Bunkers to soften up tank divisions...you'd be amazed at how good a couple of Lasher Tank Bunkers can tear apart a small division of Apocalypse Tanks. Sure, they may be weak against attacks from Harriers/Black Eagles but that's what Gattling Cannons and Gattling Tank Bunkers are used for. Also very handy if a spy somehow manages to past your Psychic defences...it's happened to the best of us. Floatings Discs are very annoying, and therefore very great, units...You'd be amazed how many people forget Anti-Air Defences. I agree with ya there. Kerovs self heal..... Really? I never noticed. Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 9, 2005 duno, but iron curtained 9 elite Apocs and chrono shift htem in to base Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted September 9, 2005  Other way around dude: You can't chronoshift stuff that's under the effects of the Iron Curtain. So, Chronoshift the 9 Elite Apocalypse Tanks, then Iron Curtain them. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted September 9, 2005 I think you meant to say you can't cronoshift iron currented units.. Which makes sense I suppose. Share this post Link to post
