Lost Internet connection totaly :-(

I have a very interesting question here goes.

Problem: launching reng fds 1037 goes thru normal wol login fine then after a period of time before completeing server sertup half way and authentications etc...

Internet connection is history GONE nothing reboot fine after that do not laUnch fds and loose connection again very frustrating.

Called ISP NO clues not blocking any UDP PORTS

Tried with firewall and with out same affect.

any ideas would be helpfull

 

Note: this does not happen when running from earthlink total access panel with proxy connection installed ie... using the proxy connection thru proxy servers after install of this package. Note limited to 1mbits thru the proxy paying for the 3 megs makes no sence to limit my connection and Earthlink agrees.

yesterday my routers both went dead for no reason. they said htey were fuine, btu in reality they werent connecting to anything at all

with C&C GENERALS i try to download the patch to be able to go online with the game but, i keep getting some download error saying it can't find the file or something to that effect. :?: any ideas on how i can get the patch? (and also the patch downloader on this forum doesn't work)

I'm sure the CNCNZ mirror works, but the EA one definately does.

the EA one didnt work for me a while bakc, i had GeneralZ email me the patch files
