GeneralZ 0 Posted September 30, 2005 its a bad idea to use combat bikes. if you order the worker off the bike to build something, the empty bike just blows up, wasting 900 cash btw, the Mig-144 you say? you probably are refering to the Mig-35/1.42 In March 1997, military officials scrapped plans to manufacture the MFI because it was too expensive. The Defense Ministry supported the MFI development program, and would decide on production following flight tests that could take up to seven years. The Russian air force will not gain one new, state-of-the-art warplane before the year 2005 because of insufficient financing. No new warplanes had been acquired since 1996. Mr_Lee_ 0 Posted October 2, 2005 be more realistic, dont come up with "strategies" unless you've actuallly used them or seem them being used. thinking them up doesnt work...you do need to be practical I find this sort of thing insulting Generalz. Just because you hold a victory over Acerz and Cygnus does NOT mean you can dictate to me whether my strategies are practical. I have tried them, and guess what...thats right, they worked. Anyway, back on topic. If fighting the GLA as the GLA, the cash bonus for klling units is a must. The cancelling out of dirty tricks by the enemys equally dirty tricks emans that when the time comes to decide a winner, the winner is going to be whoever has the most money. If using the cash bonus, you stand a chance of getting a better attack force because of the crates salvaged and the extra money means that even if your first wave only softens up the enemy, a second wave right behind them can kill the enemy using their numbers advantage. Jarmen Kell on a motorbike is another one that has become a must IMO. As his bikes speeding round getting into position, you distract the enemy and he snipes them apart from nowhere. His bike meanshe won't be vulnerable to MiGs and enemy return fire. This si especially effective when playing as Demo Jazziz. When you've got an enemy force occupied on the front line, you nip over the cliff that the enemy believe is keeping their flank secure. Then proceed to blow apart the enemies front line while Jarmen Kell destroys power plants and snipes dozers. If you combine the two strategies together, theres very little that will stand in your way and you'll find yourself the victor while your enemy goes away tail between their legs. Cygnus X-1 12 Posted October 2, 2005 I saw a Generals battle the other day that showed some brilliant tactics on the part of both players the GLA had ambushed an attacking group of Chinese Battle masters, gat tanks, and dragon tanks. The Chinese were in retreat, with MiGs pounding the GLA chasers, when several "hidden" tunnels behind the Chinese base let out a mixed groupd of Marauders, Scorpions, Toxic tractors, and Quadcannons, with Technicals dumping out RPG and inf, hittin the Chinese defenses, wich was 4 overlords, plus MiGs, Gat cannons, and standing troops, with a Scud Storm to rip apart the incoming column on retreat meanwhile.... the US ally (of China) used a particle cannon to take out the three tunnel networks, and sent several Hum-Vee's armed to the teeth with TOW missiles, Pathfinders, Missile Defenders, and with all available upgrades, including some of them at various ranks. The US commander then sacrificed about 8 comanches to allow Paladins and F-22s to breakthrough the GLA defenses, and proceeded on to waste about half the GLA base before they realised what was goin on, and rushed all their attacking forces back to the base, only to be met halfway by US HumVees, Paladins, and Comanches, with F-22s supporting caught in their own trap. Ouch. Share this post Link to post
