Forum Slowness

Recommended Posts

Every page in the forums seems to load fairly slow when I use the CNC 10 skin. The header loads, and then it seems like it hangs, waiting for a query to execute or something.

Skin: CNC 10th Anniversary

Connection Type: Cable, wired to router

Download Speed: 3.42 mbps (as recorded by internetfrog)

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

That skin worked fine for me with regard to loading times last week.

Though I've gone back to the old one now so yeah...

So your saying the forums are slow for you if you use the C&C10 style? I can't understand why :? Try change back to cncnzPurple and see if it make a difference for you.

You probably caught the server while it was under and heavy load or something.

For me the forums (with any style), CNCNZ.com main site, all sites under the Freedom Studios/Revora name (all on the same server) are loading very fast.

Every style is the same. Only the main page of the forums hang. It happens every time I visit these forums. Really strange. Freedom Studios loads fast for me.

I guess I'll just deal with it.

Well Tree I don't really have a solution for you, maybe try a different browser like Firefox if your not already using it that is.

As I said before the main site and forums (regardless of the style I'm using) all load damn quick for me.

I will admit that there are short random periods of slowness sometimes though. When that happens all sites like CNCNZ.com, CNC Depot, PPM, Freedom Studios and Revora slow down to.

Same thing happened to me. It happened with both CNCNZ and FreedomStudios... I was talking to Fenring and he said he had no Idea why...
