BWare 0 Posted November 5, 2005 "Redundant Array of Independent (or Inexpensive) Disks" It's a very good thing... a RAID 0 array, like I have, is essentially twice the speed of a regular hard drive (with 2 10k rpm raptors, it flies ). RAID 1 offers redundancy, so it's good for keeping your data secure, plus you get a little performance boost. Both of those require 2 hard drives... RAID 10 requires 4, but you get the speed of a RAID 0 array plus the security of a RAID 1. Share this post Link to post

Tree 0 Posted November 6, 2005 Or at least a CD-RW. $31 for a CD-ROM? That's kind of a rip off. Share this post Link to post
