What kind of pets and how many do you own if any?

 

I own....

• 4 Dogs

[*]3 Cats

[*]1 Bird

I had 2 dogs, but last month we had to put one to sleep... I'd had her for over 13 years, so needless to say, it was very difficult :cry:

We had to do the same, but our dog was only three...

It is really rough... I didn't at all expect it to hit that hard, but after so long, yeah, they are like a part of the family.

 

I used to have a pet rat as well! They really do make awesome pets.

A pet rat? Yuck... Rats stink like, rats... Horrible choice in pets BWare and Hypno.... Ugh I don't know how people can stand rats... I always just kill them on site... Ugh.. Yuck...

But yes, I kill rats on sight as well, but as pets you'd be surprised... they don't bite like hamsters, they're clean, and they don't smell nearly as bad. The one downside is their tail... *shudder*

Agreed, to have rats as pets? I don't kill them though, I just get them out of the house and yes, if you can get two parrots and they mate, you are in for some serious money!

 

I had a dog, when it died, it was the morning. I about to go to school when my mom screamed because she saw the blood around our dog.

 

Throughout the day, I really didn't feel anything, no pain, no happiness, nothing. The next day though it sunk and I was depressed, she was the greatest dog. Everyday I came to her and she'd just bark and lick me silly. I had 3 other dogs though, so that helped. It still hurts, but that's life right?

True but I don't like buying $200 birds just for them to die randomly one day.. So I just stick with my cheap little $40 birdies.

I have one cat, and one bird.

 

I used to have two cats and two birds, but we had to put the older cat to sleep because it had kidney problems and one of the birds died when the cage fell off it's hook outside, and my other cat, mistaking it for a real bird, decided it try and eat it. Broke it's wing and messed up it's beak. It was fine for a good few months after that but then one day it just carked it. *shrugs*
