'Tiberian Twilight' in 'Empire at War'

Recommended Posts

:twisted:Im probably not the only one who thought of this, what if EA sells the C&C titles to Petroglyph Studios (most of the Westwood guys are there anyway)say in a month or two, i dont know, and the Petro guys modify the Empire engine to allow base building and resource management on the maps, but could you imagine space battles between GDI(along with GDI mutants) vs NOD(along with NOD mutants) vs C.A.B.A.L. vs Scrin warships and planetary invasions, oh just imagine the possibilities!

P.S.-I know one of you guys are going to say, "EA isn't going to give up C&C to another company especially a new one", but hay, EA has enough projects in every genre to concentrate on, so why dont EA execs just give the C&C titles to the old Westwood guys so they can work on it alot sooner than EA would.

Because there is no profit in that, and EA is based on nothing but profit. No profit, no game.

Ah but they not pleasing the fans, i liked generals and zero hour, but i would rather have seen tiberian twilight in the SAGE engine, after a prerelease modification of the engine.

Well, Petro can develop the game and EA can publish it, they do that with other games.

given petro's history with EA, we have about the same chance of that happening as Jesus coming down and saying, "Heyyy guys, lets share a joint together!"

well 'hoover' DAM.....anything is possible...and i was thinkin.........TT is not impossible....

I would be more angry if Tiberian Twilight was made SHEETY by EA and turned out to be a REALLY bad sequel...than IFFFF EAW was a TOTAL HIT

Id rather Petro come out successful than there be another CnC....cuz the CnC originators are such innovators(spelling). :)

I wasn't saying TT is impossible :P infact I think its very possible, but Petroglyph Developing and EA Publishing is a lot closer to the relm of impossible than possible.

That said, if EA gives Petro the oppertunity, we might seem them do it because if they worked with EALA on it they could pretty much bring back the origional team which would be really cool :D

I still dont think it will happen.

Look, EA is a company, like all others. Do you really think they'd do something that would make them lose money in the long run?

Face it, EA and Petroglyph are split. There is NO possibility.

o man what if what iff....Petro comes out with a new RTS universe and its crazy.....and is similar to CnC......and they made tons of money....and we were all happy with that new rts universe.......

rEdaSbLood, thats what i was talking about, some great modders make a total conversion of the game with the ability of harvesting tiberium on occuipped planets and the likes, with space combat between GDI/NOD/CABAL/Scrin/others possibly its just so open.

Although Hypnotist does make a point, it is still possible though, nothing is impossible if you put your mind or in their case, profits to it.

However, a TC of EaW to the CnC universe would definitily take a lot of time to do, some i would rather have a EALA/Petro game, but hey thats just me...
