Getting original RA2 maps

Doubt its poss but is there anyway to extract one of the default maps from ra2 and edit it

 

wouldnt mind taking a map like toe and adding some mods

This is the easiest thing to do. Get the XCC utilities, grab the proper mix from the CD, extract the map you want and open in FA2. Easy.

i thought the xxx utilities were for vortexes

downloaded the utilities but i cant extact the world files inside it

 

i use the xcc mix editor n it just shows the files

 

any help, i want to extract all the maps from th multi.mix file

 

i looked at the xcc official site and they only had the original ra2 maps extracted? am i usnig the wrong file and can tour of egypt be extracted??

used it and opened all mix's fine

 

howeva the maps no there

 

found all the others but cant find any that are team alliance only.

 

should there be a expandmd02.mix??

i got 01 and 03 but no 02 and they have all the new yuri maps??

 

n e ideas, or if any one can find it tell me the mix/path file

Browse the CD until you find what your looking for. You'll find the map sooner or later.

i dont even know what folder they r in or anything... are the in local.mix?? or something??

Go to your CD, and go to maps01.mix
