Yes there are ways to beat the censor, and it looks like Tree has not read this recent announcement: http://forums.cncnz.com/viewtopic.php?t=5826

Profanity and the use of it has increased recently. Our rules allow for what we call minor use of it. The forum software will censor most of the nasty words. However there are was to get around the censor. If anyone is caught trying to get around the censor warnings will be given which will lead to account suspensions and possible bannings.
