F15pilotX 4 Posted September 9, 2006 Well, for the past two weeks, every video I play on my pc (not online or in games, only standalone) freezes my pc...any I download from CNCNZ or any site, and using any program to run them (I've tried realplayer, windows media player, and DivX) What is the problem? I've already tried uninstalling any programs I installed since it started, and I've updated DirectX and my video card driver  AMD Athlon XP 2200+ (1.8Ghz) 1024MB PC3200 DDR RAM Nvidia GeForce 6600 Share this post Link to post

F15pilotX 4 Posted October 13, 2006 Forget my last post, I had no clue what I was talking about then... Here's the deal, I downloaded the XP Codec pack 2.0.5, installed it, nothing I run the Sherlock detective, and it says the Intel Indeo 3.2 Source was broken; I downloaded the actual file (not .exe, .dll), and overwrote the old corrupt file in the C:WINDOWSsystem32 directory; still NOTHING...there's a few other video codecs it says are broken, but they have to do with programs I've uninstalled...seriously, wtf?
