working with XCC

Anyone know how I can extract RA2/YR units from XCC so I can moddifly them I'm trying to get the size right for a tank I'm working on

Leave original creations at the size you start with. Test in-game and then modify the header to scale it down until it looks good.

Ok I've worked out how to get RA2 units to voxel and created this

yea I had trouble getting the aligining right

 

I'm thinking of replacing it with the NOD artillery unit I also found there just dunno if its more lazy to put TS units for my new army

Interesting stuff you got there... with a little practice, you'll easily be a contributor. Post at a few other places to get even better tips.

 

A few things:

- If you look at the turret on that gattling-y tank thingy, the turret is sunken down. Avoid that. It's not a bad thing per se but it looks kinda tacky.

- ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS align the turret in the art file with TurretOffset!

Ok trying to build my units up but having the problem with the turret I can't get the barrel to turn with it or align it properly to the buggy

its gonna be smaller too I think so far I just wanna get a design for the buggy right then mod it to look good

Got those problems worked out now so my buggy looks awsome but overpowered since I gave him the pillbox gun

Just before I do any confusion I got the generals rocket buggy voxel off RA2 argentina and the turret is the gizzly tanks recoloured
