One Wish

Any wish, anything whatsoever, anything your heart desired... Well with in at least a smidgen of reason... (OMG smidgen is a word! )

 

If given the opportunity what would it be? Assuming it all worked out as you'd intend it to...

A decent (better) job than what I have already that pays well. So I can work towards a nice 4 bedroom house, a 2006 Honda Civic, new PC, Some new furniture for the house, pay off debts etc.

 

So why don't I just say, "Win the lottery" so I can quit my job, then buy better than this and more! Simple. Money cannot buy you happiness, and it won't last forever. Plus you only get short term satisfaction from buying things outright.

 

At least with a decent well paid job that I'd enjoy, I can work towards achieving such things, and be proud of earning that particular possession. It'll hold more value within too.

 

It's easier said than done, but I'd enjoy working for my stuff than just hoping that one day I'd get everything I so desire overnight. So yeah, I'd wish for a decent well paid job. That's where my happiness would lie.

What I wish so much at the moment is for God to create a miracle for the f****** train service improvement in this dumb town.

I could go on the usual expected thing of a gaming fan by saying, "C&C 3! I wish for C&C 3!" But, that would be rather undecided and not even a true wish, as there'd be no wish for what I want to happen to C&C 3, and for all I know, that wish would have already come true.

 

On another note, I could also wish for personal possessions, like games, a car, a computer, a life, or something along the lines of that, but, in most cases, those things are rather expendable, and easily replaced by upgrades, or improvements.

 

 

But, **** that. I'd just want cash. Expendable, the cliché type thing, but it gives you a relatively benevolent amount of satisfaction.

Hmm a wish huh... It would be to go back in time. To tell a woman I loved her instead of her getting away. Then at least if it didnt work out she would have known. And if this time travel could happen, I could warn others of tragic things that happen in that time period. Then perhaps I could say I had no regrets in life. But life moves on.
