A random map generator like the one in Tiberian Sun would be cool but I don't think there will be any shortage of maps available C&C 3. There thousands upon thousands of maps released for Generals and Zero Hour. I expect the same or even more for C&C 3.

I understand, but i like maps where the things are un-even, so to speak.

I prefer a map that has a river spliting the map into 2 or three sections. Having huge citys on one side and blowing the bridges so that the enemy AI cant cross and thus giving me a chance to have some fun with the game. lol.

I prefer building viseroid camps and releasing them to cause a lot of chaos. hope to do that in C&C3. LOL

But really. I like the instant TS map makers, because you dont have to spend hours and hours on the AI and the detailing of the map. Its like pressing the bright "EASY" button and presto, instant map and if you dont like it, press it again!

I say this because I believe that the Emperor and Gen/ZH map makers were pains, but due to the limits of technology, it is all understandable. 3d gaming is a new level of technology and takes time to easily modify.

But I just dont have that time.

I just wish for the days of good 'ole RA map makers where you didn't have to script the AI! ;)

yea i love the OLD RA1 map editor, so easy and creative to work with.

Its funny because when i first got RA i was trying to make a map that sprung out giant ants. lol. But yeah, i think TD,TS,and TW need a RA styled map maker.
