Woofna 0 Posted December 12, 2006 To me, GDI's best unit was the Disruptor, hands down. Do you think they will make an appearance in Tiberium Wars? I know GDI is trying to be all stone-age cheap and whatnot, but, come on, Disrupters were absolutely devastating. Share this post Link to post
Woofna 0 Posted December 14, 2006 P.S. If GDI abandons the Disruptor because they're THAT cheap now, won't Nod pick up the pieces? Kane wanted that pretty badly in TibSun. Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted December 14, 2006 I've just heard word from a source other than our own that the disruptor is definitely in, but not in a tank form. That's all I know, more than likely it's a base defense... so we're more than likely looking at the return of GDI Pod upgrade base defenses again. Share this post Link to post
Dim4uk 0 Posted December 15, 2006 I wonder if they did it on reason since it doesnt make much sence... when Filadelfia was destroyed GDI must have concentrated their resources against NOD. Share this post Link to post

Guest Rabbit Posted December 15, 2006 As king says, the disruptor is making a return. However, true to his word, it is a base defense, yes (and damn, it needs balance) Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 16, 2006 Base defence? I thought this was a fast and fluid game. I mean EA can't possibly be considering putting in defences? That totally defeats the purpose, unless these defences have wheels and can go round in circles. Regardless, I still liked the RPG though. Share this post Link to post

Well this was exactly what i thougth if you mean viechle wich can somehow when be putted in a line of few metters from each other then activate an energy shield... that would blast the stealthed units out  Share this post Link to post
TheRoadToDawn 0 Posted December 17, 2006 i preferred the mammoth Mk2 that kicked ass I know right! A stupid alien tripod or any nod unit (except maybe the Avatar) wouldnt last 5 seconds against the might Mammy Mk2! Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted December 17, 2006 I thought this was a fast and fluid game. They've actually made it to where you can make it fast and fluid, or slow and prepared, it's pretty nice that way. Share this post Link to post
