How attached are you to the property editor background?

Do you like the background picture in the property editor?

I'm working on TibEd 2, and in current versions, the property editor (right side in the edit window) has a nice picture on the background. Now, I've been trying to add context-sensitive editing of values and now I have to make a choice:

- remove the background picture and it magically works (more or less, only some graphics problems when scrolling)

- leave the background picture intact

How attached are you to the background picture there? I know I am, but depending on what you think it may go away.

This poll will run for 7 days.

Yes I know I should be working on Add unit. But that has a dependency on this (I need the edit component/Property editor for add unit as well).

Crash to desktop... I had that with RA2. It was really annoying, I can tell you that. Is this since the 1.002 patch? Because I've just installed that... hmm... maybe my game will break now too :S

If it is causing a bunch of problems and standing in your way of development get rid of it. Later if everyone really wants it back, put it back after you are done. If you cant then so be it. I would rather have a stable program than a pretty one.
