error message i just got when i did as that guy said to uhm 'load saved Generals Zero Hour game then quit it, and go on and start a new game' he said that it would be fixed, well it was going more smoother than ive seen in a while, but it does not fix my problem, it infact crashed my game to desktop

thats the error, i still have the same specs as a couple post down

I have started to get this error whenever i start the game up, what causes it? I've been running it with no problem until I formatted my computer last week. Generals still works, only ZH has this problem, could it be something to do with moving to XP from Win2000?

Unlikely, Gen/ZH run best on XP.
