Guest Auronguardian Posted January 2, 2007 Yea that happened to me one time. I was in San Diego because of my cousins wedding (sadly enough, on my birthday) When my parents brought me my present in the hotel room! I unwrapped it and saw a most glorious gift: Sims 2! (This was a while ago). I was so excited to play it all weekend yet when I got home and put in my computer.... well, the same damn thing happened. Thankfully I got a the CD version but got quickly overrun by Sims 2 Expansion packs and quit Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted January 2, 2007 For you guys without a DVD drive. Get one now because you won't be able install C&C 3 without one. Unless you get the Xbox 360 version I have 2 DVD drives in my computer, one is a DVD writer. I barely use the DVD writer anymore though. Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted January 2, 2007 I had two, a cd drive and a dvd/cd writer, but both broke at the same time, so i had to get another Share this post Link to post

Sonic 296 Posted January 3, 2007 I got a DVD drive and a DVD burner for movies/data burning. Well thats all I used my DVD writer for, backing up important files etc... but its cumbersome and annoying and I fell out of the habbit of backing the files. An external USB hard drive is way better for backing up and storing files, just plug in the USB cable and your way. Renegade isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The single is player is a once through type game, but try Renegade Online, great fun Find me online in the game and I'll be sure to snipe you or crush you with my Medium Tank CNCNZ.com Renegade Players List: http://forums.cncnz.com/viewtopic.php?t=6316 Share this post Link to post
cyclepsycho 0 Posted January 3, 2007 I have never really been much for online gaming, mostly because of my dial-up modem that is unrealiable at best, I am lucky I didn't get disconnected while I was writing this message. Sometimes living in a rural area is a b itch. Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted January 3, 2007 i know what you mean, but now i have cable so the days of 56k are over. lol but i cannot get enough of that dial up noise. dam it is so cool. Share this post Link to post
cyclepsycho 0 Posted January 5, 2007 It's really amazing how slow dial-up is. We would have something faster but nobody is willing to run cable out to my place. To remote for a DSL hub to. Share this post Link to post
