Nod News Network - What is It?

Remember the mysterious Brotherhood of Nod site we posted about back in late November of 2006. For the past couple of months all the site had was a countdown timer. Many have speculated what this countdown was actually counting down to. Was it the release of the C&C 3 demo? Something special from EA? The answer to both of those question is no.

 

Well the timer has run out and now we see at site called the Nod News Network, made up of a bunch of fictitious Nod news reports. So very strange, I still have no idea what the idea is behind this site. See it for yourself by by visiting www.thebrotherhoodofnod.com.

I think its just a fansite that is going to take a Nod slant on things. If it was something official they probably wouldnt have put Nod Temples in Blue Zones

It was for my birthday, I turned 18 on the 2nd. The site is not mine though but rather a "secret" admirer's I guess. Or rather... a really really hardcore fanboy of mine... it's not Chronojam, though.

Partially, VP. Your admirer insisted we do that date, well before our plans were ready, or else he would pull hosting out from underus.

 

I will explain, I am Joseph of the Black Hand. This is a real Nod, like the Imperial 501st. Our goals are to unite all Nod players under one single banner. Clans would become divisions or armies, people have ranks and positions. A real Nod...

 

Sadly, our ideas have been hindered, the counter was counting to three things.

 

1: The C&C3 Demo, which was held back. I probably will get in trouble for even saying this. It was a rumor, a chance. It was suposed to be out, secretly, Jan 30th (Fileplanet later had their demo reserved to this date, further confirming our surce). This never came about.

 

2: A working forum and website for the Brotherhood.

 

 

3: An interview with Joe Kucan, but we never got the nerves up to call him (we have his contact information).

 

The Brotherhood is real, but for now, you will have to be entertained by 'news' until we can make better progress.
