Different Tiberian Sun Platinum Editions

Recommended Posts

This is just in continuation from what was posted in this thread.

On the left is the real Tiberian Sun Platinum Edition released in the US. On the right is much more boring looking Tiberian Sun Platinum Edition released in NZ back in 1999.

I hope the C&C 3 Kane Edition to be released in March for the NZ/AU market doesn't suffer from this fate.

I only got the standard edition when it came out... :( No Chrono trooper for me... :(

Anyway, the one on the right looks better to me IMO...

You get the Australian classifications on NZ versions?

Thanks for this Sonic, I was waiting till I got home to compare. It looks I have the copy on the left too... but the changes aren't that obvious, and the colouring of the visor on the right looks coloured whereas mine is univerform gray as you describe it.

Mine has some/slight embossing on the logo, visor and microphone piece too.. so anyway the photo doesn't do any justice to the differences - but I'll take your word that the silver edition is better.

At least my Singapore Edition still came with the pewter figurine (still in the box!)

I see what you mean Sonic, and for diehard C&C fans, that must have sucked.

Was wondering, did you get your little figurine in the box?

Yes the pewter figurine was inside the box.
