When I make a mod, Generals says:

Recommended Posts

It says that it has encountered a technical error, whenever I make a mod. I made a mod that increases a few stats, for the comanche. Also, whenever I make a mod and use the Play Mod button, it will do the same thing, but before it did the technical error thing, it wouldnt save the changes I made to it, but I think thats because I installed Generals with mods in the folder :/ So, help would be appreciated.

BTW, this is with TibEd 2.

I am unable to deduce what is going wrong. You have other mods installed as well in your Generals folder? Is this the original version, or the The First Decade version?

Lots of things could get Generals is to crash, go to your My Documents folder, then your C&C Generals (Zero Hour if you got it) folder and then open the ReleaseCrashInfo text, it should give you location of the error.

There is your answer then, the comanche missile weapon (not the rocket pod) has a bug in it, probably a value you removed or a typo.

I got it working... Because I hadnt copied all of the files from a folder. You see, I put generals on a cd from another computer. I hadnt copied all of the files from one of the cds. xD
